Howdy all,
I am not going to be able to support the MOMBot code any longer, as I no longer have the time to play. Lonestar has graciously agreed to take over any new versions/support items in the future. I will let him explain how he wants to handle any feature requests/fixes.

First let me say that I've learned a great deal as a result of studying Mind Dagger & Bounty Hunter's Code and scripting techniques. It has always been alot of fun and extremely educational contributing when and where I could to what is the best collection of public scripts TradeWars will probably ever see. If I'm not mistaken MD and BH have together spent about 10years developing and testing: ideas; tactics; scripting innovations, which ultimately brought us the M()MBot. It's going to be a great challenge picking up where MD and BH have left off. I have many ideas for additions, and fine-tunings. I can't wait to get started on them!!
Everyone should feel free to contact me (ICQ: 240-630-042, YAHOO: myoptik, EMAIL: myoptik@yahoo.com), with ideas, problems, or general questions on Bot Commands/Modes. Please realize that my 'key time' and 'scripting time' has diminished to prob just a couple hrs/day.

Bot problem - I've used the first edition of MOM and it's run quite well. I d/led the second bot and I get an error message as follows 29.TS': CutText: Cannot cut from past end of text, line 5828 Script terminated: C:\Documents and Settings\HP_Owner\Desktop\2 proxy .4\scripts \MOMBot\__mom_bot3_1029.cts
Any suggestions?

Hey - I figged it out. I needed a new twx folder -program. I did that and all runs very well.

Actually. Delete the specific Game Files in the TWX Folder, for the MomBot. I believe the Error you quoted was a reference to the ("_MOM_"&GAME&".ships") file; its format change will crash the latest MOMBots.
