Hey guys, I am new to scripting, and have a question. while using the 2_worldtrade script, it drops fighters in every sector. When starting the script you can change drop fighter at port option, but even with that off, it still drops a fighter. I don't want to drop fighters, any way to change this? Or is there a script that will pick up my personal fighters that are littering space? Thanks for your time.

From the main menu: "M - Navigation Settings" --To--> "X - Extra commands ..."
there might be something like: F1*CT ...if there is, just earse it.

thanks. Is there a script that goes around the universe and picks up deployed fighters. I changed the xtra command in worldtrade to f0*, but that only picks them up if I happen upon them. Is there a script that actually hunts down your fighters and gathers them?

an ungridding script? I think your best route to that is your f 0* xtra command in world trade.
I gotta ask, why would you not want to lay a fighter down? You've already invested time/turns visiting the sector, possibly even at the cost of killing an enemy fighter. Why not put a fighter down to mark it for later? to use as a twarp beacon eventually, even a planetary warp beacon? to deny it to the enemy, forcing them to expend turns/time/figher(s) getting it back?
It's practically un-American....
Actually tho, such a script wouldn't be too hard to make, just seems unconventional..

There is such a script if you chose to use it in that way.
Its a fig changer I wrote and posted here awhile ago.
Just do your fig check and then the fig changer and instead put in 0 like you were saying in world trade.
But I too see no reason to take out your own grid.
Whatever you do .. have fun.

It would be a pretty simple matter to get your list of figs from your database and go out and pick them up. maybe even find a way to twarp around gathering them. If nothing else, it would be a good exercise in macro problem solving, lol
