There are many talented and capable TWX scripters that can handle Pack 1 & 2 script revisions. There are a number of things that need revising, so if you have the skills, please shout back and let me assign a couple of scripts to you. You would be responsible for addressing any known bugs, as well as bringing them up to date with current scripting conventions (especially w/ Pack 1 scripts). You are welcome to do as much or as little as you feel your time allows.

EP, I'd like to offer my time. I'm more than willing to help out in any way I can. Give me a shout.

Thanks Zoso. A beta release should be coming out within the next few weeks, and one of the objectives between beta and final release is to get the Pack1 & 2 scripts up to date. All of my attention is going into the beta at the moment, but look for correspondence and guidance shortly.
I notice that there have been lots of reads for this thread, but only one volunteer. Surely some of you other competent scripters have a couple of hours to contribute towards the TWX Development effort. Reply accordingly.

I'm new to TWX Scripting, but have been a programmer for some time now. I'm sure I'll pick it up quickly. If you lack help, I'll lend in my two hands....I may be a little slower to release them back to you than others, until I pick up the scripting well enough. Contact me here, or in email or ICQ, if you are interested in my sincere offer. I must say a big Thank You for taking up this large project, and continuing furhter development, and to all involved. I would not even consider myself "competition" in any game without TWX Proxy, and its scripts.

I'm capable enough to fix any known bugs in scripts if i know what the bugs are. I'm not an elite scripter but i've written quite a few scripts that i like/enjoy/use. The first script I ever wrote was team ssf [for hht the year when 250 ships couldn't land] and well it worked lol...
My problem really is time. I'd be willing to take 1 script on if you would like. Sorry to see you haven't had that many offers.
-btw bronlar, a good deal of us remember when twx proxy didn't even exist... heh
If nothing else i'm glad twx proxy came out. IT was the first programming language i ever wrote in and learned it really quick. Its a lot easier and lucrative to write in then rexx or java if you ask me.

Sweet. I'm working on TWX daily at the moment, so I'm really making some significant alterations. I'll see if I can't pick out a few of the pack one scripts and fire your way. And please, anyone else interested, chime in.
Shoot me an email, ElderProphet at comcast dot net.

I feel I can handle the simpler stuff as well... but knowing which ones need work would help... I've modded a few twx 1 scripts to be faster and better already... and safer for that matter...drop me a line via ICQ.
